Pappu Sardar and two others nominated as Swachhata Doot

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) has nominated city-based Madhuri Dixit fan Pappu Sardar and two others as �Swachhata Doot� (brand ambassadors) of the Swachhata campaign in the city. Pappu Sardar has long been involved in a number of social activities. The other two nominees are Biswajeet Prasad and Poonam Mahanand.. The former runs a social organization providing free and informal education to slum children while the latter is also a social activist. Poonam, who once worked as a Radio Jockey, is associated with academic activities. She is also associated with the campaign to create awareness among rural women and girls regarding sanitary napkins and hygiene. The three were given the letter of their nomination at the JNAC office by the special officer Sanjay Kumar.
