Chakradharpur, Mar 20: The Disneyland fair, organized by Funworld in Chakradharpur, suffered significant damage due to a storm. However, the organizers expressed relief that no loss of life or major property damage occurred.
The LED gate at the entrance was broken and fell, while several stalls, including Siddi and others, sustained partial damage. The storm and accompanying rain disrupted the event, causing financial losses for the organizers and stall owners.
A spokesperson for Funworld stated, “Every year, we organize this fair in Chakradharpur, but this time, nature has caused an unexpected setback. We will assess the situation and take necessary measures to continue the fair safely.”
Despite the damages, efforts are being made to restore the fairground and resume operations as soon as possible. Visitors are advised to stay updated on announcements regarding the fair’s reopening.
