Ranchi, Mar 20: The RTS exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is scheduled for March 23, 2025. However, candidates may face transportation difficulties due to a Ranchi Bandh called on March 22, just a day before the exam. The bandh has been organized by the Sirmatoli Bachao Morcha in protest, demanding the removal of the ramp of the Sirmatoli flyover. As a result, vehicular movement will remain halted until 12 PM, which could create obstacles for candidates trying to reach their examination centers.
The exam will be held in two shifts across multiple centers in Ranchi, with the morning shift scheduled from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In an effort to ensure a malpractice-free and peaceful examination process, police officers have been deployed and prohibitory orders have been enforced within a 200-meter radius around all exam centers. These restrictions will remain in place from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM on March 23.
Under the prohibitory orders, gatherings of five or more people, the use of loudspeakers and carrying of sticks or weapons have been strictly banned. The administration has issued a stern warning, stating that strict action will be taken against anyone violating these regulations. Authorities are working to maintain order and ensure that candidates can appear for their exams without any disruptions.
