Srinath University organizes Technical Conclave ‘Tarush 2.0 2k25’

Jamshedpur, May 3: The two day International Technical Conclave ‘Tarush 2.0 2k25’ was organised on May 1 and 2 at Srinath University Jamshedpur. The event was a confluence of technical excellence, cultural diversity and global dialogue, in which students, professors and industry experts participated.

The programme began with the lighting of the lamp, in which the Chancellor of the University, Mr. Sukhdev Mahato, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) S.N. Singh, Dean Academics Dr. Deepak Shukla, Associate Dean Academics Dr. Bhavya Bhushan, Dean Administration Mr. J. Rajesh and Head of Engineering Department Mr. Shashikant Singh along with other professors were present.

In their addresses, all the speakers emphasized the need to build a practical bridge between education and industry and encouraged students to innovate, develop skills and pursue technical proficiency.

On the first day of this two day event, international experts like Shovik Banerjee from Capgemini Bangalore, Dr. Prem Kumar, Chief Scientist, CSIR-NML, Dr. Anupam Nandi, Senior Manager, Websol, West Bengal, Sandeep Anand a Software Developer, and Kaushik Bose from Mercedes Benz USA shared their views. In this conclave, students displayed their creativity and innovative capabilities through technical competitions like tech debate, model presentation and flex presentation.

On the second day of the event, Gaurav Bawse, Station Head, Tata Power shared his experiences in the field of energy and technology with the students, while Dr. Arijit Vardhan Roy from SRMIST, Chennai shared his views on the digital revolution. Later, intellectual activities like “Assemble the Jumble” and cultural presentations like Tech Drama, Karaoke Singing, Group Dance made the event more exciting.

Winners of the competitions were specially felicitated, Shubham Kumar of Srinath University got first place in Standard Writing Competition organized by BIS, while Shyamali Kumari and Kaushal Kumar of Al Kabir Polytechnic got third place for Technical Reel.

The event concluded with vote of thanks offered by Head of Engineering Department, Shashikant Singh. ‘Tarush 2.0 2k25’ proved that Srinath University was not limited to academic excellence only, but fully dedicated towards holistic personality development of students and nurturing innovation culture.
