Srinath University Jamshedpur signs MoU with Canada’s Laurentian University

Jamshedpur, July 22: Srinath University in Jamshedpur took another major step towards global academic collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Laurentian University in Canada to enhance global understanding and collaboration. The MoU aimed to foster cooperation between the two institutions in various domains including joint conferences, research and innovation development programs, skill enhancement activities and student exchange initiatives.

“One of the key aspects of the MoU is the joint effort to develop and deliver globally employable academic programs that meet international standards. The collaboration also extends to jointly designing professional certification programs for the benefit of the students,” averred Sukhdev Mahato, the Chancellor of Srinath University and expressed his desire for providing world-class education and skills to students thereby enabling them to excel at the global level. He affirmed that the university intended to pursue more such partnerships in future.

Dr Santosh Kumar, Chief Coordinator for External Affairs at Srinath University, highlighted the planned talks and skill development programs with experts from various fields to keep students updated on contemporary topics. Notably, Srinath University students will have the opportunity to participate in 45-day international student exchange programs hosted by Laurentian University in Canada.

The MoU was signed by Vice-Chancellor Dr Govind Mahato and Dr Santosh Kumar of Srinath University along with Departmental Heads Shashikant Singh and Anuj Kumar Pandey while Prof Kalpadrum Passi, Dr Ramesh Subramanian, Director of the School of Engineering Computation and Dr joy Grey-Munroe, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture signed for Laurentian University, Canada. “This collaboration between Srinath University and Laurentian University is expected to open new avenues for science, engineering and computer science students, providing them with innovative and job-oriented education on a global scale. With a shared commitment to academic excellence and international exposure, the MoU promises a mutually beneficial partnership for both institutions” observed the Vice Chancellor of Srinath University, Dr Govind Mahto.
