According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunderstorm along with rain in many parts of the state from June 17. During this time the wind speed can be 40 to 50 km per hour.
However, on this day there is also a possibility of heat wave in the northwestern part i.e. Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar and Lohardaga.

However, during this time there is a possibility of light rain in the areas around Ranchi. According to the Meteorological Center of Ranchi, light rain is expected in most parts of the state on June 18. But there is less possibility of rain in Garhwa, Palamu, Latehar and Chatra on this day. While on June 19 also, there is a possibility of thunderstorm along with light rain in most areas.
Monsoon has not yet arrived in Jharkhand, according to the Meteorological Department, it is expected that monsoon will start in Jharkhand from June 17. But scientists say that the monsoon will be fully effective in the state only after June 18-19.
