Jamshedpur, May 29: Â As per the instructions of the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority, Man Ka Milan fortnight was inaugurated on Monday in the premises of Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee, Â Ghatshila court.
The program was inaugurated by district and sessions Judge KK Shukla, additional chief judicial magistrate Sushila Sereng and sub-divisional judicial magistrate cum secretary District Legal Service Authority Ghatshila sub-division Amit Alda
The Mann Ka Milan program will run from May 29 to June 14. During this period, programs will be run in all legal aid clinics of the Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee Offices. People were made aware about mediation in the program and told that maximum number of disputes can be settled through compromise. People were also appealed to take advantage of the program by attending in maximum numbers.
On the occasion, District and Additional Sessions Judge KK Shukla said that there are many such cases which are not being settled due to small disputes. For this, the PLV should make a settlement at the Panchayat level, if not, then at the Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee to settle such cases.
