Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that poverty in the state could be eradicated through constant efforts.
He said that responsibilities of government officials and staff should be fixed and all should work with team spirit to make the state a progressive state. He said that files should be moved fast and work culture should be changed. Departments should have a healthy competition among themselves and the work done by the government should be properly propagated, he said.
The CM said that the MPs and MLAs should celebrate ‘Ujala Diwas’ with the villagers where electricity is provided. “Responsibilities should be fixed for illegal electricity connection as revenue is not collected in respect of electricity consumption. Our development rate is 12% which needs to be increased,” he said.
Das further said that agriculture and related areas are important from development rate increment pointy of view. “Agriculture should be coordinated with animal husbandry, water resource and cooperative and schemes should be implemented.
The farmers’ income should be doubled and poverty should be eradicated from the state. He said that Jharkhand is the first state in the nation where budget has been introduced in January. The depts. have got ample time for preparation. The blueprint should be prepared in the next two months and implemented from April. The required DPR, tender etc. process should be completed earlier,” he said.
The CM said that the Global Investors’ Summit should be made a huge success and all departments should play their role sincerely. Sanitation aspects should be considered.
