Ranchi, Jan. 27: Chief Secretary Raj Bala Verma on Friday said that at least 100 persons should be provided work under MGNREGA scheme in all panchayats. Active workers should be mobilized and maximum working days should be generated. She said it while reviewing MGNREGA and PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana).
Directing all the DDCs, she said that the places where working days are not generated as per the target, Rojgar Sevaks should do war profiling and complete it. The DDCs should ensure availability of BDOs in all blocks; if going outside the block, they should inform the DDCs.
BDOs who are away from their block without informing the DDCs should be considered for action. Profiling of the rojgar sevaks should be done panchayat-wise and block-wise. Beneficiaries should be enlisted for dhoba making and schemes should be approved. It was reported that the progress status of Sahebganj, East Singhbhum, Ranchi, Godda, Koderma, Dhanbad, Pakur, Dumka and Ramgarh is disappointing.
Reviewing the Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana, Chief Secretary directed that work should be speed up to complete the schemes cent percent and FTO generation work should be completed after approval of schemes. When the scheme is completed in a particular block/panchayat, it should be moved to another block/panchayat.
She said that after registration, lay out program should be started by beneficiaries and Jio tagging should be ensured. The department said that out of 1.64 lakh registered beneficiaries, 1.25 lakh have been registered.
