Gamharia, Dec 19: A career counseling programme titled ‘Spectrum 2022’ was organized at Gamharia English School, Gamharia. The chief guest of the programme was the Superintendent of Police, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Prakash Anand, while the special guest was Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Subodh Kumar. They jointly lit a ceremonial lamp with the school Director Subrato Roy to inaugurate the event.
In his address, the SP said the children should develop their personality and move forward in life by setting a goal. He said it is not necessary that every child gets a job. He said children should choose their career options according to their talent and wish and that there should be no pressure from their parents.
The ADC said there are several academic and career options for children in the present times. He said children had the advantage of Information Technology. He advised parents to build a friendly relationship with their children and keep their stress-free.
Other guests too, motivated the children and guided them on ways to choose career goals.
Earlier a welcome speech was given by the school chairman Rinku Rai.
