Jamshedpur, Sep 14: A singing competition on Prabhat sangeet on the ocassion of Prabhat sangeet Siwas was organised at Mango Vijaya Green earth on Sunday.
At the event around 100 students from various schools of Jamshedpur particpated. Chief Guest for the event was Acharaya Kalyan Mitranand Avbhut of Anand Marg who also inaugurated the competition.
Bhojpuri Singer Arun Dev Yadav and Singing teacher of Tagore Society Manisha banerjee were the judges for the event.
Acharaya Kalyan Mitranand said that on this day in 1982 Anand Marg founder Prabhat ranjan gave first prabhat Sangeet to Bangla language.
