Jamshedpur: A colourful programme was organized at Shiroman Singh Memorial School at Baradwari on the eve of Deepawali. Various competitions were organized for the children. The students participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their myriad talents. The school chairman said the festival of lights should be celebrated without spreading pollution. He said burning firecrackers harmed the environment, birds, animals and human beings. A vote of thanks was proposed by the school principal Pompa Ganguly.
