Jamshedpur, August 16: Independence Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at RVS Academy on Monday. To grace the occasion, school Chairman Binda Singh, Secretary Bharat Singh, Treasurer Shatrughna Singh, member of the executive committee Shakti Singh, Principal Veesha Mohindra, teachers, parents and the students were present.
The Flag was hoisted by the Chairman. He wished everyone and asked the students to learn the value of sharing and caring, to choose a goal according to their interest.
Secretary requested the parents to motivate and inculcate positive attitudes in their wards and feel proud to be the citizen of India.
Strings of events were followed to mark the glorious celebration of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. The drumbeats with the steadfast Marchpast of the different house (Rose, Violet, Sunflower and Aster) lifted the fervour of the students.
The Patriotic song Competition winners presented patriotic song. Various Certificates were given to the winners of different Competitions held in RVS Academy Premises.
