Jamshedpur: Under the directions of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Seraikela, a raid was conducted on Monday at an illicit liquor den along the canal in Patakocha village, Rajnagar police jurisdiction.
Led by Superintendent of Excise, Kshitij Vijay Minz, the team seized 50 liters of illegal Mahua liquor and destroyed 600 kilograms of Mahua on the spot.
A complaint has been registered against the den operator under relevant sections of the Excise Act.
This operation is part of a wider crackdown on illegal liquor trade, reinforcing prohibition measures in the region.
