SER GM conducts annual inspection of Ranchi Division

Ranchi, March 25:  Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway conducted annual inspection of Ramgarh Cantt.-Muri-Kotshila-Namkom section of Ranchi Division on Friday. She was accompanied by the Principal Officers from SER Headquarters. Pradeep Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Ranchi and other Divisional Officers were also present.

The inspection started from Ramgarh Cantt. Station where the GM inspected the station premises, passenger amenities and railway colony. She later visited Muri, Namkom, Ranchi, Hatia and other stations during the inspection and suggested different developmental measures.

General Manager also inspected the bridge on Bhera River, level crossing gates, Road Under Bridge (RUB), Curve, OHE, Crew Lobby, Health Unit, Waiting Room, Running Room, Electronic Interlocking System and other amenities. Speed trial was conducted in Kotshila-Muri section to assess the condition of the railway track.      

     Joshi laid emphasis on the amenities provided to the passengers and above all maintaining cleanliness at station premises and circulating areas. While conducting the inspection, she urged all officers and staff to be careful regarding safety of train operations.
