Jamshedpur, July 25: Apala of Loyola School has become the second city topper in Arts stream by scoring 98 per cent in the ISC class 12th Board Exam in Arts stream.
Daughter of Prem Ranjan, Regional Director, JIADA, Apala wants to pursue a career in the field of law and is preparing in this direction. Having special interest in Political Science, the topper girl says she had not done any special preparation for the Board exams.
“I focused on Political Science and secured 100 per cent marks in the subject. I studied consistently. My study time was not fixed. Rather, I studied according to my convenience and mood,” she said.
Apala loves reading and writing a lot. Fiction and history are her favourites. Her message to her juniors: “Don’t stress yourself too much and do what you like.”
Apala attributes her success to her parents and teachers. Her class teacher and Political Science teacher helped her in getting a grip over the subject. Her mother Satya Thakur is District Social Welfare officer (DSWO).
