Jamshedpur: A meeting of the Sarv Dharm Sadbhavna Samiti (SDSS) was held at Telco Road # 1 to discuss the modalities of the Ram Nawami Jayanti Akhara immersion procession to be taken out on Monday on April 15. It was unanimously decided that all devotees in the procession would be provided with grams, sherbet, cold water and consecrated food. It was also decided that all guests would be welcomed with pagdis.
Presiding the meeting Nand Lal Singh stated that the Ram Nawami celebrations were being organized near the Telco New market since the past 33 years and on this occasion too, the festival would be organized there.
Present at the meeting were former general secretary of Telco Workers Union Chandrabhan Prasad Singh, INTUC leader Shamsher Khan, Shahid Pervez, Kamal Akhter, Rajesh Singh Raju, Harsh Nath Singh, Manoj Kumar Singh, Sajid Khan, Arun Kumar Singh, Sanjiv Ranjan, Jaspal Singh, Sanjay Sinha, Anup Singh, Upendra Singh, Satish Kumar Singh, Alam Raj, Basant Nayak and others.
