SDSM students rally for maintaining cleanliness

Jamshedpur, October 1: As per the CBSE guidelines, S.D.S.M. School for Excellence on Saturday, October 1 organized a ‘Swachhta Day’ Program where 25 students from Class VIII and XI participated.

The program began at 9.30 a.m. in which rally was taken out by the students making citizens aware of the importance of cleanliness. The rally was flagged off by the Principal, Mousumi Das.

This rally traversed through 10 No. Basti, Sidhgora were cleaning activity was carried out and awareness message about the importance of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ was spread.

The program was guided by teacher Neelam Jha and Environment Club teachers Ekta Pandey, Ranjana Ganesan, Bhaswati Nayak, Rajni Singh, Arundhati Biswas, Narinder Kaur, Urvashi Thakur and T. Sai Ram.

The school appreciated the role played by the students in calculating the spirit of hygiene and cleanliness, so that every child values the importance of good, clean and hygienic living.
