Jamshedpur, Nov. 9: Parliamentary affairs minister and Jamshedpur West MLA, Saryu Rai along with MP Vidhut Varan Mahato jointly inaugurated several development schemes here on Monday.
Altogether 37 sewing machines and 58 rickshaws were distributed on the occasion of dhanteras at the Mango Notified Area Committee (MNAC) premises.
A PCC road worth Rs. 51 lakh was also inaugurated today. PCC roads were also inaugurated at Chandrawanti Nagar, Gopal Nagar, Dimna Basti, Upartola, Sadhu Colony, Mango, Anand Vihar and National Highway-33 near Sheyn International School.
Speaking on the occasion, Saryu Rai said soon pipeline work for drinking water will start in the remaining areas of mango and water a tower worth Rs. 33 crore will be built.
The water tower will help curb down the water related issues faced by the people of Mango during the summer months.
Rai further said that Gandhi Maidan will soon be developed into a Gandhi Museum. Mango will be urbanised like Jamshedpur city, the MLA added.
