Jamshedpur: Sardar Shailendra Singh, president of Jharkhand Gurdwara Management and a dedicated figure in social service, will be honored with the Atal Tiranga Samman during the Atal Tiranga Samman Ceremony organized by Salute Tiranga. The ceremony, scheduled on the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, will take place at MDMC Hall, Sansad Marg, Delhi. The event aims to recognize individuals making significant contributions in various fields across the country.
The selected committee has acknowledged Sardar Shailendra Singh’s invaluable contribution to social service, placing him among the distinguished recipients of the Atal Tiranga Samman. Other honorees include NSG Commando Dinesh Hooda, known for his heroics during 26/11 and the Kargil war, journalist Rajesh Raj from Doordarshan, Deepti Daya in sports, Alok Raj (DGP Vigilance), Anil Pratham (former DGP Gujarat), Alok Singh (IG CRPF), Colonel Ajay Konthiyal, and more.
The ceremony is expected to be attended by Union Ministers, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, former Chief Ministers, Members of Parliament, BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam, and other dignitaries. Ravi Shankar Tiwari, the Executive President of Salute Tricolor Jharkhand State, expressed pride in the selection of Sardar Shailendra Singh for this prestigious honor. The event will also mark the presence of celebrities from various parts of the country.
