Saraikela’s Gurucharan Mahato to receive Adarsh Yuva Mahanayak Samman 2025 in Mathura

Gamharia, June 1: Young poet, lyricist, and social worker Gurucharan Mahato, popularly known by his pen name ‘Apaavad,’ has brought pride to Seraikela district with his selection for the Adarsh Yuva Mahanayak Samman 2025. Mahato, a resident of Pargama village in Seraikela district, will be honored during the forthcoming Sanskar Mahakumbh-2025, scheduled to take place from June 6 to 8 at the BSA College of Engineering and Technology campus in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.

Organized by Adarsh Sanskar Shala, this three-day international conference will recognize 111 distinguished persons from across the country who have made remarkable contributions in fields like social service, literature, and cultural preservation. Mahato is being honored for his consistent creativity in Hindi literature, promotion and preservation of folk art and folk songs, and his dedicated work in social service sphere.

Expressing his joy at being selected for the prestigious recognition, Mahato extended his grateful thanks to Adarsh Sanskar Shala, its jury members, and the organization’s national coordinator Dr. Deepak Goswami. He has been associated with the organization for the past five years.

Gurucharan Mahato has previously received several prestigious accolades including Samvad-Shiromani, Kolhan Gaurav, Lokkavi, Sahitya Shri, Vagdevi Sahitya Samman, Apaharan Upadhi, Lok Gayak, and Yuva Kalakar for his literary, cultural, and social contributions. His work has been recognized in cities like Seraikela, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Patamda, Purulia, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Patna, Dehradun, and Delhi.

His latest achievement has sparked celebrations among his family, teachers, relatives, and admirers, all of whom are congratulating him with great pride.
