Jamshedpur: Acting on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, the District Mining Office carried out an intensive late-night raid on June 28 to curb illegal excavation, transportation, and storage of minerals.
During the operation, a vehicle bearing registration number JH05DH-0750 was intercepted in the Mango police station area while transporting sand without valid permits. Upon inspection, the driver failed to produce any license or authorization, confirming the illegal transport of mineral resources.
The vehicle was immediately seized, and an FIR was lodged at Mango police station. The District Mining Officer stated that the administration is committed to strict action against illegal mining activities and that similar monitoring and raid campaigns will continue across the district to prevent such violations.
