RVS Academy inaugurates State-of-the-Art Robotics and AI Lab

Jamshedpur, June 23: RVS Academy proudly inaugurated its advanced Robotics and AI Lab, a landmark initiative aimed at fostering innovation and hands-on learning among students. The ceremony, held at the school’s campus on Dimna Road, Mango, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, was officiated by Binda Singh, Chairman of RVS Academy, who ceremoniously cut the ribbon to open the new facility.

The event was attended by notable members of the school’s management and faculty, including Bharat Singh (Secretary), Shatrughan Singh (Treasurer), Shakti Singh (Executive Committee Member), Saurabh Singh, Shipra Singh, Rajesh Kumar Tiwari (Principal, RVS College of Engineering and Technology), Vikram Sharma (Head of Training and Placement, RVSCET), Veesha Mohindra (Principal, RVS Academy), and Anita Tiwari (Vice Principal). The presence of teachers and students underscored the community spirit and collective enthusiasm surrounding this significant development.

Equipped to meet the rigorous ICSE syllabus standards, the Robotics Lab features cutting-edge software tools such as Python IDE, Arduino IDE, and Tinker CAD, enabling students to delve into artificial intelligence and robotics. The lab is also stocked with a wide range of hardware for hands-on experimentation, including microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, displays, motors, wheels, batteries, and chargers. Essential tools such as soldering irons, glue guns, pliers, screwdriver sets, and multimeters ensure that students have all they need to bring their projects to life.

Specifically designed to support Class 9 syllabus experiments, the lab encourages practical and innovative learning experiences. During the inauguration, several impressive student project prototypes were showcased, including a quadcopter, hexacopter, smart dustbin, electric vehicle, robotic arm, Bluetooth car, and line follower car. These projects highlighted the students’ creativity and potential in robotics and technology.
