Rs 22,000 collected from polythene users

Jamshedpur: A team of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) carried out an anti-polythene drive in Birsanagar on Saturday and confiscated Rs 22,000 in fine from five persons found using banned plastic bags. The drive was also conducted in Telco, but no polythene was found anywhere. The JNAC City Manager Sonal Singh, who led the campaign, said the surprise visits would continue indefinitely.
