Jamshedpur: Railway Protection Force (RPF) DIG PVS Shanta Rao conducted an inspection of Tatanagar and Adityapur railway stations to assess and improve security arrangements.

During the inspection, he reviewed the RPF barracks, station premises, and overall security infrastructure. Expressing concerns over out-dated facilities, he recommended a proposal for the modernization of old RPF barracks and a strategic plan for better land utilization.

While examining Tatanagar railway station, he received a security briefing from RPF in-charge Rakesh Mohan and emphasized the need to prevent unauthorized entry into station premises.

Following the inspection, a security conference was held with RPF officers and staff, where Shanta Rao stated, “Passenger safety must remain the top priority. With an expected increase in passenger traffic at Adityapur station, RPF personnel must remain extra vigilant.”

Post-inspection, strict directives were issued to enhance security measures, ensuring a safer travel experience for passengers.
