Jamshedpur, July 8: The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West (RCJW) organized a free anemia screening camp at Dorabji Auto Pvt. Ltd., Adityapur, as part of its ongoing health awareness drive.The camp aimed to identify early signs of anemia among industrial workers and promote health awareness.
A total of 140 individuals were screened during the camp, of which 102 were found to be anemic. The medical team used 140 lancets and 150 strips for testing, and distributed 140 Albendazole tablets and 306 Ferri-Z iron supplement strips to those in need.
The high number of anemic cases underscores the importance of preventive health check-ups in industrial areas. RCJW extended its gratitude to Dorabji Auto Pvt. Ltd. for their support, and to all volunteers and medical professionals who contributed to the camp’s success.
Rotary Club reaffirmed its commitment to community health through continued outreach.
