Chandil: Villagers of Urmal panchayat under Chowka police station area have opposed the delay in the construction of the kutcha road linking Dinai to Savdih.
They alleged that the work was stalled for the last one month. There is no information board at the construction site. As a result, the villagers are unable to find the progress of the project.
They said they are unable to complain to the authorities concerned in want of proper information about the project and the contractor or agency carrying out the work.
They said the district administration authorities have not taken the pains as yet to ensure timely completion of the project. The road is to be laid with road soil called murum locally.
