Jamshedpur, Sept 11: In a move aimed at enhancing passenger convenience, Indian Railways has announced new halts for the Tata–Jammu Tawi Express.
The North Central Railway has approved a trial stoppage at Hathras station in Uttar Pradesh, while the Northern Railway has introduced temporary halts at Bhodwal Majri station in Panipat, Haryana.
According to an official circular,train number 18101 Tata–Jammu Tawi Express will halt at Hathras at 5:25 pm for two minutes, departing at 5:27 pm.
Similarly, train number 18102 Jammu Tawi–Tata Express will reach Hathras at 9:03 am and depart at 9:05 am, bringing relief to passengers from nearby areas.
At Bhodwal Majri station, Northern Railway has announced temporary halts between October 19 and November 7.
During this period, train number 18102 Jammu Tawi–Tata Express will halt at 4:24 am–4:26 am, while train number 18101 TATA–Jammu Tawi Express will stop at 10:10 pm–10:12 pm.
Additionally, 18310 Jammu Tawi–Sambalpur Express and 18309 Sambalpur–Jammu Tawi Express will also halt at the station during the same timings.
Railway officials said the move would particularly benefit devotees attending the Sant Nirankari Samagam, besides improving overall travel convenience.
They further stated that if demand persists, these halts could be considered for permanent inclusion in future
