Jamshedpur: Former Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has announced the formation of a Public Facility Committee for his previous constituency, appointing his former MLA secretary, Sudhir Kumar Singh, as its convener. This decision was made in response to ongoing public concerns regarding incomplete development projects.
According to a statement issued by MLA Saryu Roy’s personal secretary Ricky Keshari, the former legislator had approved numerous development projects in Jamshedpur East during his tenure, with funding from both the government and Tata Steel. While many projects were implemented, several remain under construction and some are yet to begin. Concerned citizens have been reaching out to Roy, urging him to ensure the completion of these initiatives.
The newly established committee will work toward addressing public grievances related to infrastructure and civic amenities. Sudhir Singh, as convener, will oversee the expansion of the committee by engaging interested residents who can report local problems and assist in their resolution.
