Poster and collage contests organized at Jamshedpur Women’s University

Jamshedpur, Aug 4: A poster cum collage competition was organized at Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU) under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration on Thursday. It was organized at the indoor stadium in the university campus. The topic of the poster competition was ‘Freedom Fighters’ while the topic for the collage competition was ‘Women Freedom Fighters’. Both events were judged by Suman Prasad, founder of Flamin Art.

The first three prizes of poster competition were given to Bharati Kumari, Mampi Gope and Anjali Soren respectively. In collage contest, the first three prizes were given to Mampi Gope, Irfat Parveen and Adya Jha respectively. Vice Chancellor Dr Anjila Gupta congratulated the winners and other participants. Dean of Student Welfare Dr Kishwar Ara also addressed the participants. The contests were conducted by geography teacher Preeti.
