Ranchi: Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh police held a meeting on security arrangements in view of elections scheduled to be held in Chhatisgarh on 19th November.
The meeting was attended by the IG Operation ML Meena, IG of CRPF MV Rao and other senior police officials of Chhatisgarh and CRPF.
It was decided to seal the bordering areas of both states and keep an eye on Naxalite activities during the election. Assistance has been sought from the Chhatisgarh government to ensure peace on both sides of the border.
