Palamu, May 5: During his visit to Palamu on Saturday, Prime Minister Modi tasked BJP workers with a unique responsibility aimed at enhancing voter turnout. He encouraged them to treat voting as a festive occasion, urging each worker to lead a group of around 30 voters to the polling booth by ringing a thali or playing drums, while chanting Ramdhun.
Emphasizing the importance of community participation in the electoral process, PM Modi suggested adorning polling booths with balloons on the day of voting to enhance the festive atmosphere. He shared his vision of enhancing voter enthusiasm and doubling the joy of voting by organizing groups from localities to visit polling stations together while singing religious hymns.
PM Modi’s directives were further reiterated during his public address in Palamu, where he criticized both the Congress party and the Jharkhand government, accusing them of fostering corruption and advocating for divisive policies. He vehemently opposed any attempts to introduce religious-based reservations, asserting his commitment to preserving the sanctity of the Constitution.
The Prime Minister’s visit to Jharkhand included a series of engagements aimed at galvanizing BJP workers and rallying support for the upcoming elections. His directives underscore the party’s strategy to mobilize voters and ensure robust participation in the democratic process.
