Ranchi: The president of Jharkhand State Minority Commission Dr Shahid Akhtar today talked to the president of Central Haj Committee, Mumbai, Kaisar Shamim, over phone and apprised him of the problems being faced by Haj pilgrims of the state to get their passports issued.
There is a crisis of passport booklets in the state as a result of which passports are being issued with much difficulty.
