Passenger drugged, robbed on board Tata-Chhapra Express

Jamshedpur, Sep 12: A passenger, identified as Sandeep Thakur, was found unconscious on board Tata-Chhapra Express on Monday. He was taken off the train at Barauni station and hospitalized by Rail police, sources said.

According to sources, Sandeep was drugged and robbed by unidentified criminals. He met a man at Tatanagar station who told him he was also going to Jasidih. After boarding the train, the man offered biscuit to Sandeep. Shortly after consuming the biscuit, Sandeep lost consciousness and was robbed before other passengers could find out what had happened. Sandeep’s mobile phone and other belongings were stolen by the accused, sources said.
