Panchayat Polls: FIR against Kavita Parmar for Model Code violation

Jamshedpur, May 22: Bagbera police registered a case against Dr Kavita Parmar, Zila Parishad candidate from Bagbera electoral constituency no 8, for inviting Intuc leader Rakeshwar Pandey and several BJP leaders at the inauguration of her election office.

An FIR was lodged against Parmar on the information of Magistrate-cum-Circle Inspector Himmat Lal Mahato. Parmar had invited many leaders during the inauguration of her office in Bagbera Colony, Road No 5, near Old Dispensary Ground on 15^th May last. She has been accused of violating the Model Code of Conduct.
