Jamshedpur: Rotary Club members distributed school bags to students of Divyajyoti Netraheen Sansthan School on Friday. The programme was jointly supported by Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City and the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West.
A total of 20 school bags were handed over to the students by Rotarians Jitesh Choudhary and Krishna Kumar Kharia in the presence of Assistant Governor Kusum Thakur and Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West President Ashok Jha.
Speaking on the occasion, the Rotarians reaffirmed their commitment to supporting inclusive education and empowering children with visual impairments through meaningful service initiatives. They said such programmes not only provide essential learning materials but also strengthen the spirit of compassion, inclusion, and community service.
The students and staff of Divyajyoti Netraheen Sansthan School expressed their gratitude to both Rotary clubs for their thoughtful gesture and continued support towards the education and welfare of visually challenged children.
