Jamshedpur: The Co-operation Department and NABARD organized a one-day divisional-level orientation workshop at Sakchi, aimed at empowering LAMPS/PACS and developing them into multipurpose centers. Project Director ITDA, Dipankar Chaudhary, graced the event as the chief guest. The workshop was attended by the Chairmen and Secretaries of LAMPS/PACS from across the Kolhan division.
During the event, Dipankar Chaudhary provided guidance on implementing LAMPS-related schemes and engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives about future development plans. The attendees also raised concerns and challenges they face in their operations, to which officials provided potential solutions. DDM NABARD emphasized the need for mutual coordination among all stakeholders for effective implementation and progress.

A major focus of the workshop was the development of computerized LAMPS in the Kolhan division, transitioning them into e-LAMPS, and ensuring their records are maintained online. Discussions also covered discrepancies found in the digitized records, with officials providing necessary suggestions for improvement.

The workshop saw the participation of District Cooperative Officers and DDMs from all three districts under Kolhan division, alongside representatives from NABARD and the Milk Producers Federation. The event marked a significant step towards strengthening LAMPS/PACS in the region, ensuring transparency and efficiency in their operations.
