Jamshedpur: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) hosted an impactful road safety awareness session organized by Tata Steel’s Town Security Team in collaboration with the BBIC Foundation. The session, led by Vivek Singh, was specifically designed to educate and empower students of classes 9 and 11 to become champions of road safety in their communities.

Held in the school’s common hall, the interactive session encouraged students to share their thoughts and learn about the importance of responsible behaviour on the roads. Singh highlighted key aspects of road safety, emphasizing the need for adherence to traffic rules and responsible driving practices. “By becoming advocates for road safety, students can play a vital role in reducing road accidents and saving lives,” he remarked.

The school’s Principal, Sangeeta Singh, along with Coordinators Smita Majumdar and Picku Kumari, were instrumental in ensuring the event’s success. “This initiative aims to not only educate our students but also inspire them to spread awareness about road safety within their families and communities,” said Singh.

This initiative is part of Tata Steel’s broader mission to promote safe driving practices and foster a culture of responsibility on the roads, creating a safer environment for all.
