Jamshedpur, Feb 22: A motorcyclist was killed while another was injured in a road accident on the Bonta-Bodam main road in Bodam police station area on Tuesday.

Sources said the mishap occurred five kilometers before Bodam police station. The deceased, identified as Abdul Shakeel, 19, was on his way to Harpaidih in Purulia (West Bengal) on his motorcycle to see his fiancée. He was accompanied by his relative Saddam. A speeding truck knocked him down at high speed. Shakeel died at the scene after sustaining critical injuries. Saddam was seriously injured in the incident, sources said.
