Jamshedpur, Dec 11: A Bharatiya Janata Morcha (BJM) delegation of the party’s Olidih unit led by its president Dharmendra Prasad met Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) Executive Officer Dipak Sahay and discussed various problems prevailing in the locality and sought amelioration for the problems.

The delegation handed a demand notice to the MMC EO. The delegates discussed several issues. They pointed out that many street lights were not working and urged that they be repaired for safety and security of denizens. The deep bore tubewell at the Adivasi School in Olidih had been nonfunctional over a long period of time and its repair was sought so that Olidih residents could benefit from the water supply. The BJM delegates wanted that garbage and other wastes be lifted from the Adivasi School vicinity at regular intervals to prevent foul odor of decaying garbage and prevent mosquitoes from breeding in the locality as otherwise, threat of mosquito borne diseases would continue to lurk in Olidih. The delegation stated that a camp be organized for renewal and issue of new trade licenses as businessmen were finding it difficult to conduct their businesses with renewal or issue of the documents.

MMC Executive Officer Dipak Sahay assured that their demands would be met and directed officials and workers concerned to get to work to address the kills pointed out by the delegation.

The Olidih unit BJM delegation included youth wing leader Akash Shah, Rajesh Kumar, Prem Saxena, Indu Shekhar Singh, Sunita Singh and Vivek Sharma.
