Jamshedpur, Aug 22: Employees of the Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Limited’s Jojobera Cement Plant will receive a 20% annual bonus for the financial year 2024-25, following a settlement reached between the management and the union.
According to the agreement, the bonus calculation included 7% for production, 6% for profit and 7% for safety, totalling 20%. Employees will receive a minimum of Rs 63,111 and a maximum of Rs 2,37,625, with payment to be made along with the August salary.
The settlement was signed by Plant Head Hari Kishore Garikapati, Senior VP (HR) Arnav Vasu, GM (HR) Rajiv Mishra and other management representatives, along with union leaders including President Rakeshwar Pandey.
Speaking on the occasion, Pandey said, “I sincerely thank the management for this fair and rewarding settlement. This reflects the good relationship between the union and management and the hard work of the workers. I urge employees to make wise use of their bonus and save for the future.” (w/nkm)
