Jamshedpur, June 17: In a major breakthrough, Jugsalai police have arrested Chand alias Langda, a notorious criminal wanted in multiple cases of theft and snatching across Jamshedpur and Seraikela districts. The arrest was made within 48 hours of a recent snatching incident in Jugsalai.
According to police sources, 8 to 10 cases were registered against Langda. Upon his arrest, police recovered several stolen items, including a gold chain, gold earrings, silver jewelry, a purse, an iPhone, and a tablet. During interrogation, Langda reportedly disclosed information about other gang members involved in such crimes.
DSP Tauqeer Alam confirmed that raids were ongoing and a comprehensive list of criminal associates was being prepared. The arrested accused has been sent to judicial custody.
