Jamshedpur: The district administration has issued a joint order enforcing a “No-Entry” restriction for heavy commercial vehicles in the city on August 15 and 16 in view of Independence Day celebrations. The order, signed by the Deputy Commissioner, SSP Piyush Pandey and DSP Traffic Neeraj, states that from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm on August 15, no heavy vehicles will be allowed to enter the city. Similarly, from 6:00 pm on August 16 until 2:00 am the following day, the restriction will remain in force.

Passenger buses will be exempt, but all other large vehicles must remain outside city limits. Violators will face strict action and fines. The administration implements similar traffic restrictions every year during Independence Day to ensure smooth movement and public safety during celebrations.
