Jamshedpur, Dec 19: Yash Kumar, a Class 12 student of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES), will represent Jamshedpur in the 68th National School Games 2024 (SGFI) to be held at Emerald Heights International School, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, from December 20 to 24.
Yash is the only boy from Jamshedpur competing in the U-19 Boys 62-66 Kg category. He has been training in karate under coach Neeraj Kumar since Class 1.
NHES Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhury expressed pride in Yash’s achievement, extending her best wishes for his success. Previously, girls from the same school have also participated in the SGFI, continuing the institution’s strong sporting legacy.
