National Integration Week concludes at Karim City College

Jamshedpur, May 23: The closing ceremony of the National Integration Week was organized by the NSS unit at the Sakchi campus of Karim City College on Tuesday. Professor Jayant Shekhar, Registrar of Kolhan University, graced the occasion as the chief guest.

In attendance were Principal Dr. Mohammad Reyaz, NSS Program Officer Dr. Aale Ali, NSS Coordinator Syed Sajid Parvez, all the college teachers, students, and their parents. The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Professor Jayant Shekhar, Principal Dr. Mohammad Reyaz, NSS Program Officer Dr. Aale Ali, and NSS Coordinator Sajid Parvez. Following the ceremonial lighting, Dr. Mohammad Reyaz, the Principal, extended a warm welcome to all the guests and shared his thoughts on national integration.

A mesmerizing Sambalpuri dance performance portraying the culture of Sambalpur was presented by Namrata and her team. Additionally, Prerna and Surendu Patra delivered a beautiful song during the event.

Professor Jayant Shekhar, the chief guest, addressed the significance of India’s cultural diversity and national unity. He emphasized the importance of communal harmony and national unity to the students. More than 1500 students actively participated in various competitions held during the Quami Ekta Week, including essay writing, debates, slogan writing, sketching, painting, mehndi, dance, and music.

All participating students were presented with certificates of participation, while the winners were honored with prizes and certificates. The program was smoothly conducted under the guidance of Manav Ghosh, and NSS program coordinator Syed Sajid Parvez delivered the concluding vote of thanks.
