Ranchi: Former Union minister and former MP from Chatra Nagmani joined All Jharkhand Students Union on Saturday.
He has reportedly got an assurance of being given party ticket for the Lok Sabha election from Chatra constituency.He joined the party during a small function at the residence of party president Sudesh Mahto.
He was earlier the Bihar state president of Nationalist Congress Party. He resigned from NCP reently to contest the polls. He had met Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and expressed his desire to contest from either Chatra or Ujiyarpur (Bihar).
But the BJP leaders turned him down for lack of loyalty for any particular party.
