Money lender sent to jail in Jamshedpur 

Jamshedpur, May 3: Bistupur sent Rahul Durge alias Golu, an associate of Sanatan Utsav Samiti chief Harjeet Singh alias Chintu Singh in the money lending business, to judicial custody on Wednesday.

The accused Rahul is a resident of Bhuiyandih of Sitaramdera police station area. Rahul’s brother was sent to jail by the police in the Tinku murder case in Sonari. There is an allegation on Rahul that he used to cooperate in the business of Hinduist leader Chintu Singh. He used to collect money forcibly by threatening people, due to which people were distressed.

Chintu Singh, who was sent to jail in the money lending business, has also been accused of Arms Act in the case registered in Bistupur police station.

It is said that on the strength of the weapon, threats were made to extort interest money. It is known that Chintu Singh was arrested by the Sakchi police. After that he got bail from the court. The very next day, Jamshedpur police arrested him from Kolkata in another case and sent him to Ghaghidih Central Jail.
