Jamshedpur, May 3: Banna Gupta will file a defamation suit of Rs 10 crore on Saryu Rai if he does not apologize in three days
State health minister Banna Gupta has sent a defamation notice to Independent MLA from Jamshedpur East Saryu Roy for making false allegation to tarnish image.
This is the second occasion when Banna Gupta has filed a defamation suit.
This notice has been sent regarding the propaganda being done by Saryu Rai in connection with the alleged viral video of the Health Minister and possession of a banned pistol. Health Minister Banna Gupta’s advocate Prakash Jha, in a legal notice sent to MLA Saryu Rai, has asked him to publicly apologize in three days and withdraw the statement made in the media. If this is not done, it has been said to claim defamation of Rs 10 crore and file a case.
Unfazed Saryu prepares for legal fight against Banna
Jamshedpur, May 3: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy accepted that health minister has served him a legal notice.
The MLA said that anyone reading circular will understand that both Glock’s 44 and 21 are banned and it is instructed to confiscate it from the one who has it and deposit it in the Government Malkhana. It is worth mentioning that J Biswas & Co. of Kolkata is the only dealer of the manufacturer company Counter Major Technology in the country.
Saryu Roy said that as far as first defamation case is concerned, till date he has not received the notice from the court.
“I challenge that they should take the issue of possessing banned weapons raised by me as well as the issue of pornographic video to the court so that truth comes out,” said Roy.
