Jamshedpur: The JMM activists raised a ruckus at the Janta Darbar organized by the district administration at Jamshedpur Block office against restrictions of entry at the meet.
Police stood as silent spectator when JMM raised a ruckus and held demonstration at the venue.
When Janta Darbar began in the morning the JMM leaders including party district secretary Laltu Mahato and former block president Bahadur Kisku with supports squatted at the gate of the office protesting against restrictions of entry of people at the Janta Darbar.
When the mismanagement did not abate senior officials including ADC Sunil Kumar, SDO Prem Ranjan, BDO Parul Singh and circle officer Manoj Kumar came out of the room and tried to pacify the agitators.
The JMM activists said that the Janta Darbar ought to be organized on open ground not in a closed room. After a lot of persuasions the JMM activists reasoned and lifted the dharna.
