Jamshedpur, Jan 30: Women seeking information about the Mukhyamantri Maiyan Samman Yojana are facing hurdles due to login issues at the block office in Jamshedpur. Despite the scheme reopening on Wednesday at the zone office, the block office login remains inactive because the OTP is still being sent to the old Block Development Officer (BDO), Dr. Sudha Verma. The login was not updated following the arrival of the new BDO, Sumit Prakash. As a result, women from local panchayats are unable to get any information related to the scheme, which is causing widespread frustration. Meanwhile, the zone office has been open, and women from urban areas have queued up to check the status of their previous applications. An official at the zone office mentioned that while new applications have been halted, those who had submitted applications earlier are being informed about their approval status. However, many women from the rural areas have had to return without any answers due to the technical issues at the block office. To manage the growing crowd, police forces have been deployed outside the block cum zonal office.
